Mini, Maxi ..... something else or nothing at all?

There are mini and maxi pads, but that's not what I referring to....way way way beyond those products!
I am talking about dresses. I watch QVC and it seems maxi dresses are back in style (again). They had some really cute ones on the other day. I also see them sell a lot of mini dresses or mini skirts. If you have good legs, show them off!
In my younger and thinner days I liked shorts, but not mini anythings. Skits were above the knee but not so far above you had to be careful sitting down. I never cared for maxi stuff either. Actually, I very seldom wore dresses but I did wear skirts at times but mostly slacks.
So ladies are you a mini or maxi fan - or neither?

I am a mini because at 5 feet tall thy look like a normal size skirt. I have been known to wear all lengths but the best look for me is the mini and its mid thigh.
I don`t go out like I used to so I have not worn a skirt in a while.
I love my shorts, I wear them mid thigh also.

I am too short for a maxi dress and forget about wearing a mini anything with these legs of mine. So I wear what is comfortable and doesn't show a lot of skin. LOL

@AbbyGreenhill I am wearing capri's now and as I look at my legs I realize that I should attempt a quick shave. It isn't too bad because the hairs are so light. But when the sun hits them, they shine. LOL.

I wear shorts, but not short shorts...they are a good length. I do shave my legs since we have a pool - I don't want to scare the wild animals.

I don't wear dresses, I have never been comfortable in them. I like jeans and shorts mostly. I don't wear skirts either. I always feel like people can see more than they should whenever I wear a dress or skirt-maybe I'm crazy but that's just how it feels. Lol

i don't prefer mini , nor a maxi skirt. for minis we have to maintain our legs ,i don't have that much patience, maxi skirts i feel like i am too old

I prefer maxi dresses way below the knee, though I do have a dress and a skirt that are above the knee that I will wear on occasion.

Some men look quite attractive in skirts. No on dresses and shorts. I would need to find dressy shoes for the dresses and that would be a huge, expensive issue. Shorts? Varicose veins. Nuff said. I do wear tank tops when the temps soar.

@AbbyGreenhill So far no varicose veins on my arms. Flappy under arms, yes. Must cool off somehow or other when the temps hit the low 100s. I've never had decent shaped legs.

I think neither. I own some skirts but no dresses until the Festival where I bought a cute summer dress for a very reasonable price. It looks lovely and cool.

I used to wear minis at times in college socials; then switched on to maxis occasionally and now mostly trousers and tops/shirts. But, I would add, it all depends on the time, place and company.
