What's the best way to get rid of your stress?

Well I listen to my favorite songs whenever I feel low or stressed. Listening to them kind of charges me and makes me happy, helps me forget my problems. And so it's kind of a stress buster to me. But it doesn't work if I listen to sad songs. It makes the situation worse so it has to be a happy song. How do you cope up with your daily stress and problems?

I too play games sometimes when I'm really stressed. The feeling you get when you pick up a weapon in game and use it to destroy the thing at which you focussed all your stress at

@shahidguno thats kind of funny actually..I tend to lose my focus when I am stressed so I always suck at games even if I tried.

That's a great way to calm down but how do you focus. I seem to lose focus when I am stressed.

Taking more fruits and vegetables actually reduce stress level and also try to avoid junk food.Speak with your close friends.They make us laugh because laughter is so good for us. It improves mood and reduces stress.

I take a break, do some breathing and stretching exercises and then eat my favorite fruits while listening to inspirational music.

Whoa girl. You follow a great routine. I bet thats healthy as well unlike me. I have all kinds of unhealthy food. Chocolates, pizza, chips, you name it, its there.

@salonga Well I guess that's pretty difficult for me. I religiously believe in the fact that I was born to eat. I live to eat, not the other way round. I don't want to have any regrets when I die that I couldn't eat my favourite icecreams or pizza or chocolate or anything that I love. Just got one life, want to make the most of it. Human life will end anyways one day so it's better to fulfill all you desires and then die. That's my POV.

I do mylot when I can. Its a good stress reliever for me because I get to read a lot of funny stories and some stories are worse than my life so I'm thinking that I'm still lucky. There are times too the I just read a good book and listen to music. It relaxes my mind and stop me from over thinking. Thinking is my worse enemy when im stress and depress. I can see all sorts of situations and I can't help it but get more stressed.

Yeah like everyone says Mylot is a great help in stress. About your thinking part I cant agree enough. Thats what aggrvates my stress level too.

yeah, we should always manage stress. when am stressed of everything, I like walking out at least to get some friends to talk to, I rarely listen to songs or sleep

Listening to meditating music might help. And also try to do something which you really like. If you have a hobby you can practise it

I can imagine standing on the beach looking at the wave. Its so relaxing. Thats surely a nice way to free yourself of stress. You are so lucky to have a beach where you live.

I listen to (and make) ASMR videos to relax and wind down. Thus far, it's the only remedy in my situation that works the best! I just lay down with a pair of headphones and listen to newly uploaded ASMR videos on YouTube and before I know it, I'm carefree and also completely unconscious. LOL

Good that you have your thing sorted out. Some people arent sure what to do when they are stressed. Btw I have never seen an ASMR video. Will try tonite. Lets see what effects it has on me.

I put my earpeace on and play some happy songs whiles laying on my bed. Some nights i just go for a long drive with rock music playing in the car , other times i just sleep it off and watch a few funny videos on youtube

Not right now but yeah I was under lot of stress sometime back. And since I suffer from migraine attacks so stress isnt a good thing for me. Though I dont meditate as such but I do indulge in aerobics.
