~That's The Difference Between Mommy & Daddy~

Josiah got woke up from Julian crying in the middle of the night so naturally he wanted a bottle too. My husband is at fault here for Josiah waking up-here is why. My husband brought Julian into our bedroom and set him down so my husband could use the bathroom-before making a bottle for Julian. Of course Julian started crying, waking Josiah and I up. I asked my husband why didn't you make a bottle before using the bathroom? He said I couldn't hold it. I said really? I hold it all day long some days-doing the potty dance just to make sure the babies have what THEY need first! I told him that is the difference between a mom and a dad. (Most of the time anyway).

Oh how funny but oh so true for some!!! having been a babysitter most of my teen and adult life it is so hard to get time to go to the bathroom without a kid knocking on the door or causing a ruckus outside so alot of times i would hold it till they were able to take a nap or really focused on a cartoo and even then i was listening for any sudden movements lol

@chrissbergstrom Yes it is! Lol. You will definitely be well prepared for kids someday if you decide to have children. =) Most guys sadly are not.

The consequences of his actions just did not seem to hit him and so he had both of them up.

That is a difficult situation, I have to say I side with your husband on this one, if I am peeing on myself that will not help the baby or me... when I have to go ... its coming and yes I have peed myself more than one trying to do the mad dash to the bathroom.

@andriaperry Lol. I have bladder issues and I still hold it through out the day for my babies. He caused a lot of grief over peeing!

@LovingMyBabies If it was some years back,I would have sided with you.But I think it is difficult hold till the bottle is finished. Also,in India, there are men under such a situation, just wake up their wives to deal with everything and go back to sleep.(Not all of them,of course.)That photo you took is really beautiful.

@silvermist No all he had to do was make his bottle and give it to him! Julian is 15 months old. He didn't have to feed Josiah-that would be different. Lol. Thank you! =)

@Courtlynn To me it's common sense to do things in the right order-with the babies always coming first.

I might be able to hold my pee an hour or a couple minutes but I am a woman and I can't hold it all day.

@workathomefan It would have just been a few minutes for him. He just had to put milk in a bottle and hand it to him. I don't hold it all day long either but I will hold it long enough to make a bottle or change a diaper.

@suripunj I said most, don't worry. Not all, but it was a selfish move to worry about his bladder before his son's needs.
