Tania came with all sort of wonderful appetizers. There were salmon quiches and empanadas with chicken and basil filling (I´d put more basil though). She also brought celery and I made a dip. And there was my zuchinni sauce with oregano and cilantro. The main dish was simple. I only ate roasted chicken because I was already full. Tania ate a bit of rice with the chicken but we did not touch the broccoli. What we did touch was the wine so we had a nap before we ate dessert. We talked a lot of this and that and suddenly Tania discovered that it was very late and that she was going to the cinema with her BF. She she made a yerba mate to be awake and went away. It is funny how we always have something to talk with our children. Does it happen to you too?

Those quiches sound good, and I'm quite curious about your zucchini sauce. Did you make the dip with the celery, or to eat with the celery?

@spiderdust I make it cutting zuchinni and onion in small squares and frying them with garlic. Then I add spices and dry oregano. Finally, when it is cooked, let it cool and add cilantro leaves

My 2 daughter are inbdependent and have their own families. But both make a time to visit. Claudia comes more often as she lives very near and one of her children is still little so she comes to visit with her.
