It is time to make an exit. I do better if I get to bed at a decent hour. Sweet dreams to those who are headed to bed. The others of you, I wish a great new day.
My observation is that I can go to bed from 9 pm and sleep until 5 am and function much better than if I go to bed at 11 pm and sleep until 7 am. I am a morning person through and through.
When the weather gets hot, getting up early works much better for dealing with it. I also think more clearly when I do that.

I did sleep well, and managed to get up in time to get the dishes cooked that I wanted to take to the potluck.

Were you that way as a child as well? My parents let me stay up until ten pm, but then when I was a teen I started getting up early to visit with my dad.

@GardenGerty I had to get up at 6:30 to go to school, so I have always been a morning person.

I could probably adjust to that, if need be. I tend to fit my schedule around Bob's, and he gets up at 5. I mostly need consistent hours even on the weekend.
