Careless?

When a friend/ family member lost something like wallet that contain money, ID's, etc. What are you going to do? Will you be mad? Infuriated? Here's a thing. If you consider this idea "NO ONE WOULD EVER WANT TO LOSE SOMETHING" be it money, accessories or even people close to you. YES? So, how will you react to the situation?

To tell you the truth the first reaction after the shock of loss is that I want to steal money of others for immediate relief. Then I rush to the place where probably I have lost or pick pocketed and stare each face around with suspicion.Then I curse who did it to me. And then console myself: 'Everything happens for a reason'. Never go to Police.

Oh..I guess "idea" is not a good word for the sentence so how about "thought" is that good?
