Torn Betwen Two...

No, I am not torn between two lovers (as the old song goes), I am actually torn between two partially completed manuscripts.
One is a sweet little love story. A kind of second chance at love type book. It is about a broken marriage and a woman learning how to live and move on.
The other manuscript is a historically based suspense story. I still have research to do before I can complete it.
Looking at them both I can see that the romance will take less to complete. Logically speaking I should go ahead and finish the romance and then move on to the historical book.
The reason I am so conflicted is because at this moment I am more into historical book.
What do you think? Just interested in your opinion.

I would finish the romance and then get into the research to finish up the other.
