30 days to Happiness

I came upon an article today that I found quite interesting. It was called the 30 days to happiness challenge. I found the article quite interesting and thought to myself... hey I can do that. Maybe some of my readers would also be willing to join this challenge with me. here goes Day 1- No social media day- do not get on any type of social media today, this means not to read, or anything on any kind of social media. Day 2- call a friend. This does not mean send a friend of yours a text, this means pick up your phone and call someone you have not spoken to for a while and have an actual conversation with them. Day 3- listen to your favorite song. This one should be pretty easy unless you don't know what your favorite song is. If that would be the case then just listen to music all day. Day 4- 15 minutes of exercise. For those of you who are like me that don't do much I recommend a 15 minute walk. Day 5- Put out some fresh flowers in your home. Day 6- Hug someone you love. Tightly Day 7- An act of kindness. Something as simple and as small as smiling at a stranger or writing some kind words to someone. Day 8- Watch a funny movie Day 9- Dance like no one is watching. Pick some good music for this one. Day 10- No complaining today. Day 11- Indulge in your favorite treat today. Day 12- Color a picture. Something about coloring brings back good memories of your childhood Day 13- Dress to impress. Get all dressed up into something you love. Day 14- Start a new book. You know that one that has been sitting on the shelf for a long time. Pick it up and start reading it Day 15- Take another walk. Day 16- Play with a pet. If you are allergic to animals I don't recommend this one . If you don't have a pet visit an animal shelter near you and spend some time with the animals. Day 17- Get a pedi. Take care of yourself and go get pampered. If nothing else just paint your nails Day 18- One on one time with your favorite person. Day 19- Plant something. A tree a flower a plant of some sort that will bring you joy when it grows. Day 20- Ride. Go for a ride with no destination in mind and see where you end up. Day 21- Bake. Bake a cake or some cookies anything you want but make it from scratch. Day 22- Take a nap. Just a short one but no longer than an hour and a half. Day 23- Write a list of things you are good at. Day 24- Declutter a room in your house. The best one would be the one you spend the most time in. Day 25- Buy something you want. Just for you no one else Day 26- Visit with nature. go to a park a lake or pond. Day 27- Go out to dinner. By yourself or with a friend. Day 28- Plan a vacation Day 29- Take a day off Day 30- Make something for someone you love. I was thinking the same. I don't think mylot should count in this challenge. It can be addictive though so maybe. I don't know.

This is a great challenge! I love challenges and I would love to take this one but since I'm starting three challenges for this month, I think I have to do this one in June.

@AmethystD85 Not sure if you have heard of the reset girl and planner girls and the hobonichi. I'm doing challenges for those. One is a self care challenge by the reset girl.

@toniganzon No I haven't heard of them. I also like doing challenges. If they make me a better person in anyway I'm all for them. The one for self care sounds cool.
