Is there one special quality about yourself that you really like? A quality known only to family, close friends and those whose lives you might have touched? Then share that quality with us.
The quality I like most about myself is that I am respectful - I give respect where it is due. In fact I am blind to color, race or a person's position in life. You could see me sitting near a sidewalk chatting with a homeless person - or at a table with Prime Ministers and Diplomats.
What would you say is your best quality?

I'm a good listener! I rarely interrupt and try not to give advice after listening. Most people just need to vent.

The only thing I can say about myself is my sense of humor @Kandae11 ; which I share with 'everybody'. And I hope that is what I'm remembered for.

@Kandae11 I think that's true because there are so many bad things happening in the world (especially today), that if we didn't laugh, we'd be crying all the time. And I love the phrase, "A smile is a frown turned upside down."

@nanette64 Laughter is also said to be the best medicine. A lot of times people prefer to be around people who at least appear to be jolly -- even though they may be crying inside.

@Kandae11 If it's beyond your control, you have time to call people and let them know what happened and why you cannot fulfill your obligation. It's when you have control over the situation and have no excuse for not doing what you said you would that you lose your integrity, and ultimately any respect from others as well.

@Kandae11 - Yes I've noticed that some people do find it hard to see the UP side of a situation. That's how I realized it was a "gift". In the Bible, Barnabas, the Apostle Paul's companion on missionary trips, was called "son of encouragement". I get that. There are some people who stay positive and keep going so they can help others. It's a gift God expects them to use to encourage others.

I'm willing to give everyone a chance when I encounter them. I don't judge on appearances. I might keep my guard up - but I don't decide until they act.

@Kandae11 I was once walking through a river flat when a large biker gang called out to me and told me to come over. It was a bunch of rowdy people that looked like they could kill me an take my money, but I dutifully went over. They all turned out to be really nice people. It was fun talking with them.

I am the "healer" when someone is sick, I know what to get out and make them feel better.
Cough? I got a halls cough drop.
Headache? I got the aspirin.
I can even do natural - stomach ache? Blackberry juice.

Nice picture...About me I am so talkative...Friend's used to say always"You are so funny". But many times I have seen, all are laughing for what I told except me.It's really a mysterious for me.I always recall it and laugh sometimes...Lol

Well I was known for my take charge ability in time of crisis. It was always oh..Ocean will know what to do.
But now they regard me as the black sheep, the crazy to say the least, such disrespect is unwelcome by me.
So thats the end of that story.
