Anyone Want Some Jerky?

Lately, this is becoming a Great way that my husband and I are earning some extra $$ that we despirately are needing. We were able to sell enough over the weekend even to be able to get some Groceries here in the house, etc. It is nice to know that there are people praying for our situation and God is helping us meet that need.
Actually I am getting ready to place a wholesale order as we have actually been doing a lot better with this, and getting close to being almost out, especially of beef. What we started doing is going around to the Car dealerships here in the area and asking them if anyone is interested in buying some Jerky. Sunday we were at 1 for like only 10 mins after Church and we made $90. Many are definitely wanting us to come back and see them.
We are praying and believing that this will be our answer and our hope and direction until eBay and Bonanza decide to wake up. We are also selling other things and hope they are getting ready to wake up as well.
God is Good. The only way to go from here is Up!!

I love beef jerky, I did not quite get it, so do you buy wholesale and sell it retail? Or do you make them? Yes God is good.

@minx267 Are you interested in learning more about how much it would cost, etc to get started. [I can let you know cost and such if you are interested. Message me if interested in more information and what type you are interested in trying. It has really been Fun for me. Been doing this on and off now for around 10 yrs.

The Jerky I sell is pre packaged. It would be equivalent for the most part to what the Health food stores sell. I even carry some of the specialty jerkys like Buffalo, etc as well.

@KrauseHome That's cool.. I would love to do that.. I'm tired of spending money at walmart for stuff that isn't all that great.

Well, before I got sick and had to worry about my Health all the time, this was a Great way for us to be able to make some extra $$ to help with groceries etc. For the time being until I start feeling better, we are now limited again to what we can afford even with groceries, etc.

Try not to fret too much as that will only make you worse. I know its easy to say but you will get stronger and stronger every day.

Well right now due to my Health, I am not able to do much of anything, so everything is pretty much at a stand still except for the times I feel well enough to be able to post in here.

It has been a lot of Fun selling it over the yrs. I prefer getting out with it, and about. Finding different ways and people to sell to is awesome as well. Gives me a chance to meet new people.

Well, if you are friends of mine on Facebook or even here, I could message you what ones I have for sale and prices but unless I do a Facebook Fan page for the Jerky not sure how else I could sell it online

Wonderful your jerky is selling! At my last employer, a guy sold jerky for $5 bucks a bag, I loved it ~ I always bought it weekly =)

Not sure where these days you can get Good jerky for that low. The jerky I sell is comparable to what is sold like at Trader Joes, Whole foods etc. The beef and Turkey is $8.00 a bag or 3 for $20. Then I have exotic Jerky that is $10 a bag. And quite often I have troubles keeping it in stock even with these prices.

@KrauseHome oh the bag was a small zip lock just a few pieces.
But yes I shop at Whole Foods and Trader Joe's. I like the freshly made jerky they offer at Whole Foods :)

Have not had the chance to try and sell any for like over 2 weeks due to Health, but it would be nice to be able to get back to this as the extra $$ sure came in handy.

Well due to my Health at this time, this is a hard one, as I am not really allowed to go do anything nor really feel like doing much which makes it hard. But before I got sick we did find a pretty good way to make some extra money doing this.

In this day and age, you need to keep on top of things when $$ is an issue, and since no one else wants to be there to help, we have to keep finding ways to help ourselves. Just will be Glad when I start feeling a little better so I can get back to life as we knew it before.

Well, I always am needing ways to earn a little extra $$, especially now with everything going on as we are back to everything being tight to make sure we will have Food $$ here to be able to eat.
