Hard Labor Is In Demand

I have been working on the old home place for a long time, a little at a time. Today I take another step to get this place livable, I mean someone could live there but I would NOT so if its not good enough for me then I won`t rent it. Last fall we put the metal roof on, just me and Tony. Yes Tony did most of the stuff on the roof but I was the send up the sheets of metal, screws etc. I did all the ground work, including cold drinks and a fan on the porch for many breaks, while I was ripping down sheet rock inside. Late yesterday after work I stopped by and we measured the size of floor joists that will be needed and how many we will replace or need to sister on. Today I am buying half of what we need and maybe get that much accomplished, plus I still have junk in the basement to trash can AND i will mow the grass, its been two weeks already. Right now Tony is sleeping and I wont bother him because it really does not matter what time we work, its for the most part all inside, I just need 45 minutes to push mow the grass. Plus I have to gather my supplies I will need for the day from the shed, the shed that needs cleaned out..... but that is another day and another discussion How is your day going? Gotta work today?

LOL, not I am not afraid of most any work, okay I do not think I could be a stripper! I remember saying to my dad when I was a teen and I had moved out already, my grass needs cut and he said " the mower is in the basement."

@andriaperry He was a smart man to give you the drive to get things done independently.

A busy day ahead for you! So glad Tony is able to help. Chilly day here and will weed all the gardens. I hate those gardens, but do not want to pay a pro to destroy all 8 of them.

My sister took a lawn mower and did away with hers. She has nothing but grass and tomato plants in 5 gallon buckets. Me too, he is getting stronger but he has to have another thing done this month and he wants to get the floor stable so, as he says " if I die" you can finish the house without much help, cause you know how to do all this work. I could do the floor but I would need a man to help and for some reason men do not like a woman boss, However I do like the word, and I stole it from Bobby @hostessman "Voluntold" Tony did volunteer so I am gonna do this!

Wow that's a lot of work, and I do understand why you're putting everything into this. Any idea when it will be ready for someone to move in?
