frustrating day

Baby boy is still on a nap strike. I think it's because he has teeth (finally!) coming in. Three have broken through the gums, but one is still giving him grief. The other adult who usually helps me is out of the house all day. In addition to that, my adult teen daughter is having boyfriend drama (again) and showed up here last night with no real idea of what she wants to do. It's not a great relationship, as they're both pretty immature. She says he's mean and she wants to leave, but then she says that she feels bad because he isn't going to like her leaving. I told her that how he feels about the consequences of his actions isn't her responsibility. She's going with someone today to go get her stuff (I told her to get ALL of it), mostly to make sure that there's no problems and also to make sure that she actually does it instead of thinking she can fix it all and make it better again. So, cranky toddler, teen full of drama and ennui, 90F weather, and no help. I am really looking forward to this day being over. Calgon, take me away!

Been there and had crying babies that kept me awake for months on end day and night so I can feel for you about that. When they donĀ“t want to sleep we always suffer the most. Hope it all sorts itself out.

The heat doesn't help it for any of us either.

@spiderdust Its very warm here a lot now also. One Summer there was not a night that I could sleep the entire night as he cried day and night it was a nightmare for a time. It was very hot that year.

@lovinangelsinstead21 At least he's little enough that he doesn't have to wear clothes in the summer when it's hot.

I remember those days. My girls are all out on their own, married with children of their own. Believe it or not, someday you are going to miss the drama.
