Tree nuts have fiber, magnesium and antioxidants which helps to reduce inflammation. Inflammation may lead to a heart attack. You should also should eat a diet low in processed meat, red meat and refined grains. Get at least 150 minutes of exercise each week. Fish and chicken are good for you to eat and any seafood.

I am switching to a breakfast of dried fruits and nuts instead of bread. I think my past diet of bread is not good, since it is pure carbohydrates, and when I use peanut butter or other bread spread, it introduced added sugar. In term of cost, dried fruits and nuts are more expensive.
