Tornadoes Tonight

Tornadoes are around us tonight. I've intended to buy a battery powered lantern but haven't been to look for one. We haven't ventured out but saw on TV large trees blown on roofs and cars. I'm on my iPad, thought I'd try one more time to submit from my iPad. It hasn't worked before but maybe my luck has changed.

@Courtlynn We didn't lose power. It was high winds and rain. We were lucky branches didn't fall on power lines.

We don't plan to go out. I'm watching TVto see when the danger has passed. Hope we don't lose our power

Hope you will remain safe. We had a mini tornado a couple of years ago. It damaged our garden but we were safe.

That's good that no one was hurt. Once we had a tornado that twisted tall trees in our yard down.

@LadyDuck Thanks, there was damage at the airport and a huge branch fell from a tree at my nephews house.

That's true. A few times we have gone into the bathroom that's on an inside wall when it looked really bad.

We have had 'summer' since November--temps in the high 80s and low 90s--no rain though we really need some. Finally had rain today for an hour or so and is suppose to be in the high 60s in the morning and in teh mid 80s in the afternoon.

Yes, for a wonder if did submit. No, we didn't have any damage. My nephew had branches fall off a huge tree in his yard . They fell away from the house.

We live in an apartment. I've never seen a bunker so I'm pretty sure we don't have any. We aren't going out unless the building tumbles down.
