I agree... cussing is something that I try not to do, but it's hard to control for me. Also, I have been trying for years to quit smoking. I'll stop for weeks or even months, but eventually always pick it right back up. That's my worst habit ever.

Cussing is one of mine too. I just got a Parrot, and I'm afraid she's going to say some dirty words soon. I would also like to stop procrastinating so much.

I don't know whether this can be called a bad habit, but I read three or four books simultaneously and end up reading all of them till the middle only. I guess I must change this habit and learn to concentrate on one thing at a time.

Why quit smoking? Smoking increases the risk of respiratory diseases such as emphysema, chronic bronchitis and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Smokers have twice the risk of dying of heart attacks, as do non-smokers. And smoking is a major risk factor for peripheral vascular disease, a narrowing of the blood vessels that carry blood to the leg and arm muscles. Smoking also causes premature wrinkling of the skin, bad breath, clothes and hair to smell bad, and nails to turn yellow. Quitting smoking has major and immediate health benefits for men and women of all ages. Benefits apply to people with and without smoking-related disease. Former smokers live longer than continuing smokers. For example, people who quit smoking before age 50 have one-half the risk of dying in the next 15 years compared with continuing smokers. Quitting smoking decreases the risk of lung cancer, other cancers, heart attack, stroke, and chronic lung disease. The health benefits of quitting smoking far exceed any risks from the average 5-pound weight gain or any adverse psychological effects that may follow quitting.

I would love to give up smoking. I've been smoking on and off since i was in 8th grade but recently it's been at it's worst. I've been tring to quit for two months now but when you are around a whole lot of people that smoke it's so hard to stop. But I have gone from smoking about 15 a day to 3 or 5 a day.
