What's for dinner? May 5

What's going on the dinner table tonight? I want to know! I didn't take any meat out of the freezer this morning because I didn't know what the plan was for this evening. Sometimes we go out on Friday nights and sometimes we don't. My husband told me tonight he didn't want to go out, so I needed to come up with something to make. As I haven't been to the store in 2 weeks, the pickings were pretty slim. I had a package of spaghetti but no crushed tomatoes to make sauce, so I was just going to do it with extra virgin olive oil and garlic. While looking in the freezer for something else I found a small container of frozen homemade meat sauce, so that saved the day. We are having spaghetti with meat sauce. BAM! That's what's happening here. What are YOU having? Do tell!

Sounds delicious and easy! We just returned from our Friday night dinner at a Chinese restaurant. I didn't want to go because of the rain, but I wasn't in the mood to cook.

I was hoping that my husband wanted to go out tonight but he said no because he was tired. Funny he still hasn't gotten home yet from having drinks with his former coworkers!

You are very resourceful! I made a soup with bananas, fresh spinach and some herbs freshly picked from my inside edible plants that I grow in my apartment and threw is some supplemental minerals and vitamins. Yummy!

@NJChicaa It is one of my favourite meals and I vary the vegetables which may be romaine, celery, cucumbers, zucchinis, or different greens. It is a very complete and nutritious meal. Tonight I used 15 bananas and that is 1500 calories.

I don't think I've ever had bratwurst. It has been a long time since I've had mac n cheese. I'll make it soon though as we will be firing up the smoker in the next few weeks.

I'm sure it will be fine but probably not awesome. haha We have no grated parmesan. My fridge is a sore sight these days. Ever since I started losing weight, I haven't been up to my usual cooking or fridge-stocking standards.
