My sister makes lemon water. They say it's healthy. She cuts the lemon and add to water with ice. She adds no sugar so it's not sweet. I don't like it because it's not sweet but they say it's good that way.

The easiest way is to use a blender to blend the whole lemon. As long as the blending does not take too long, there will still be pieces of peel floating around. The lemon peel has medication properties. It is good for combating inflammation.

@Lupita234 No, it won't. You have to use the lemons with thin peel, not the thick ones. There are some lemons with peels that are as thin as those of small limes.

The whole lemon? The skin taste a little bitter. I think it's not a good idea to use a blender. Maybe just juicer

@averygirl72 The bitter taste is the proof of medication properties. Those lemons with thin peels are better than those with thick peels, because the peels are not that bitter.

yes, i finally tried lemon water this summer. it's supposed to be warm water and drank first thing in the morning, but i can't do it. so to compromise i put slices of lemon in a jug of water, put it in the fridge and drink a glass when i'm thirsty. pretty refreshing, but i can't say i have noticed any health benefits yet.
