The Summer is striking us violantly

May 6, 2017 12:36am CST
It's now just been the start of the summer season and most of the inhabitants of Kolkata have become the helpless victims of the season. The average temperature in these days has grown up to 42 degree Celsius. Almost every house here is now consists of the Air Conditioner but outside of it is unbearable conditions. Thinking the condition of the population of the slum areas feeling distressed. How they are surviving. On the other way the huge using of cooling technologies like refrigerator, air conditioner , air cooler etc. results the change in climate because these kinds of instruments exert a huge amount of CFC which is a greenhouse gas. Most of us are aware of the function of CFC in nature. But those who are not aware of it I am writing a little bit for them. Actually CFC(Cloro-Floro-Carbon) tends the heat to stick in the atmosphere in way keeping the excess heat into the atmosphere of earth. As a result the temperature of the earth is increasing day by day. Another crucial reason for global warming is the melting of ice in Antarctica due to several reasons. So the hard days still to come. We have to take precaution for this. We can't get rid of these conditions but by taking precautions we can avoid this phenomena to some extent.

We do not have a cold season but at least a wet season could do. Anyway, we have just been through a hot season and it was bad, even worse than last year. I guess the climate is changing every time and is becoming so unpredictable and unbearable. I wonder what to expect next year and years to come. So sad that earth is complaining bitterly to those with eyes to see. I hope humankind humble themselves and accept defeat other than to risk everything.

Growing trees around where we live helps us to a maximum extent, indoor plants are also helpful in cooling the rooms.. But we are cutting trees instead, we have to bear the consequences of what we do.

CFCs are used as propellant in aerosols - anything from deodorants to asthma inhalers... That is the challenge, finding a less long-lived alternative to the CFC, chloro-fluoro-carbons. Before we all get cooked by high temperatures...
