Hello friends and colleagues

I recently read a piece on how people are starting to send their resume' out not only to businesses when wishing to get hired but also to friends, family members, and co-workers. In the article, it talked about a general greeting and how such an email makes people feel vulnerable to say they are single again or perhaps looking for work. How does that make you feel? Would you or have you ever send out mass emails like this? Most the time when I'm looking for work or changing my career path, I'm very open with my connections, speaking face to face about it or even remarking about it on social media sites like Facebook. We know that all too familiar "status" change and venting that goes on when someone breaks off a relationship, that hits Facebook like a tidal wave but have you tried to use your Facebook page to get a job? Would you? And if not, why not? In this mass email which is suggested, that goes out using the bcc function, one is supposed to share a few important facts like your current job or most recent, how long you were there as well as the company name and additional information. You should add the who, what, where, why and when's of it all so people know what you are looking for, why you're making the change and when you want to get started. It also advises that you attach your resume' so that these people you are connecting can send it along for you if they know of any opening. When I read that I thought, "Brilliant!." You're actually putting these people to work for you which should give you a wider scope and higher percentage of job opportunities coming in. But do you think people would do that? It's easy enough if you think about it. You write to the company what is called a cover letter saying you heard they had an opening and thought "so and so" might be a perfect fit for the job. From there just attach their resume' they sent you and thank them for their time. What a creative why to find a job. I actually kept a copy of the email template and thought this could come in handy. Then I thought about myLot and how so many writers are looking for work and not just writes, some people come here just to be social and may have other jobs or career goals. Just my personal share today with the community.

Yes. Why don't you approach some consultant. They will have some rapport and make the things for us.
