Student loans

United States

So I am a student, and like most students I am almost crippled under the weight of my student loans. One of the most eye opening experiences I have had was working at Navient student loans for 2 years (don't hate me, I was a victim too lol). While working there I realized that school may have not been worth it in this day and age. I would like to pass on any knowledge I have obtained from working with student loans, specifically private loans. Any questions, feel free to ask, I'll answer to the best of my ability

I had an awful personal bitter experience with loans. So I advise: Don't get any loans! Never! Never! Never! But if you have no choice - only a small bit of loan.

@Yasmeena It is applicable to your country US and get it. Probably it is proper. But here, in Bulgaria, don't get anything as private loan because there are so many gangsters in the private loans institutions. Their final aim is to rob your real estate and leave you on the street without anything. They don't agree that there are situations when one /he or she/ couldn't meet the loan/debt. So, here, far away from them! It is my simple piece of advice.

@WriterAI its pretty similar here as well except the gangsters are the bank owners. they destroy you with interest and fees. a $10,000 loan will become $25,000 by the time you go to pay it back

Im a criminal justice major and the interest rates depend on your credit around the time you got the loan. One thing I will say is if you can avoid it NEVER get a private student loan. only department of education loans.
