What are your thoughts on breastfeeding in public? As a mother who breastfed in private I have mixed feelings. When I had my kids there was no movement to have women breastfeed in restaurants and other public places. I just read an article where a senator in the Australian parliament breastfed her baby while the Parliament was in session. Did she do it to make a point? Wasn't there a break room in the Parliament building? Would I want to subject other members to watching me feed my baby which I see as a private, personal bonding experience? Lots of questions. what are the answers.

I think it is fine. But it should be nice to use a cloth to cover the mammary gland while the back is sucking out the milk. Image Credit: http://www.babyslingsandcarriers.com/files/1995686/pdt_bebe_au_lait/bebe-au-lait-nursing-scarf-muslin-bijou-model-used-as-cover.jpg

Great image. Yes if done in this matter it is more private than a public display

Personally, I guess it would depend on the situation and everyone that is around. In a huge group of both Men and women I would have never been able to do it, and still find unacceptable,
