My hubby repainted my stone in the garden the other day and decided to put it at the watering hole (of stone).
Yesterday a flock of Hadada Ibis's arrived and munched on all the worms in and about the grass and then approached the watering hole for a sip.
So poised at the waters edge that it looked like they were reading the verse on the stone.
"The kiss of the sun for pardon,
The song of the birds for mirth,--
One is nearer God's heart in a garden
Than anywhere else on earth."
~ by Dorothy Frances Gurney who was an English poet and hymn writer.
Happy Friday to you all, may you find inspiration in everything you see, read or hear. There is plenty of goodness out there.

I went to a garden centre and saw this plaque for the garden I could not resist it with my school boy humour. I am sure it will make you smile! It says
When i'm in a sober mood
I worry work and think.
When i'm in a drunken mood,
I party laugh and drink.
But when my moods are over
and my time has come to pass
I hope they bury me upside down
so the world can kiss my ****!!
I will go to church in the morning and say three hail Mary's.
