Marsha's Log: One Goal Met

Yay! I finally completed a project that was on my list.
I got in to the utility room and finally got a pile of boxes looked through that have been in there for years. Then there was also all the stuff around the boxes too.
Tempted to just throw the boxes out without even looking in them, I'm glad I didn't. One box had mostly new stuff in it. Things like swim toys, floaties, crayons, drawing pads, even some Avon cologne.
All that stuff that was keepable is now in it's own place.
I put the big litter box in the place of the boxes so I can close the door to my craft room again. Then I finally am able to have my mop bucket where it belongs and easy to get to.
I also planted 3 tomato plants and 2 pepper plants after clearing out the planters. I do hope they do well. The strawberry plants in the other planter are looking good.
Next up is to get Jasmine from work and we will go to the store to buy the foods we need for the Mother's Day festivities tomorrow. I will make a huge batch of potato salad this evening. Past that I sure hope to get some earning done too!

My Saturday has been very boring did some mylotting on and off watched a good movie and soon will be getting ready for dinner. Glad you did not throw the box out I hope your plants do well. Have a good rest of your day

I'm tired of most of my Saturday being spent cleaning, but it's usually the only day of the week that I actually have time for the extra.

@paigea I have so very few days that I actually am home most of the day....and I really need my oldest daughter to get her stuff out of my way. She was just here and took a big box out of the utility room so it will be a little easier to get to the washing machine at least.

My husband has been gone all day, dealing with his automotive addiction. I have so many things to do I do not know where to start. I am painting yard furniture and some shelves for a bedroom, etc. Need to go out and get the mower going.

I wanted today to be a sewing day but nope. I washed every bit of my husbands dirty clothes as they were stinking up our bedroom....then just the normal daily cleaning.

It's way to easy to accumulate it and much harder to get rid of it.
I'm taking one box of yard sale stuff from the garage at a time to donate to our church rummage sale.
Every year I end up bringing the left over stuff from church home. I must not do that this year!!

I spent equal time in the garden weeding and the other half working on the Scollie line in my family tree. Both were exhausting lol!

My Saturday is coming to an end. It was a quiet day. I am still trying to get done with a lot of spring cleaning so you just gave me incentive to keep at it. Hope you have a great Mother's Day tomorrow.
