I am here for a little while since it's too early to head outside. So I thought I'd share the news - there are now three eggs in the nest - that was as of yesterday. Who knows how many will be in there when she's finished!
Gave Ruby a NexGard (flea and tick preventative) the 11th of May and this morning my husband picked a tick off of her. Hum, how long does it take before they are effective?
I had a horrible headache yesterday and right now it's 80 percent better. Not sure what is causing it since I very seldom get them.
I don't plan on doing much today and hopefully sitting outside in the beautiful weather will help my headache.

@AbbyGreenhill I was happy when she called me to say that they would have come here. At least now they have gone and I am at home. I was not really in the mood to go there, cook and come back late in the afternoon.

so sorry about the headache.I know the feeling on this.Rest is the best cure there
I am hoping that you will be able to get a photo when they hatched.What kind of birds are we talking about.

@amadeo I think the problem is my neck also - it pops and when it pops a certain way the headache goes away for a while.

Laying my head on a pillow made it worse, sitting up the headache feels better. Yes, I see the rain up in your neck of the woods. Birds, I don't have a cue what kind they are - thin , small and the male has some very light red feathers - and hey chirp extremely loud!

How is the headache now?
Mine is off and on.Had to do mostly with the neck pain.

Bird eggs...some small skinny birds that just had 5 that were born and flew away now they have a new nest in my flowers and so far today 4 eggs.

@JudyEv The worry is the deer tick and Lyme disease. But it's not as prevalent here at it was up north.

I only bought a six month supply so they didn't come i a box from Pet Meds. Six months was over a hundred bucks.

Its a sinus headache, from all the crazy weather, it`ll pass.
I picked a tick off the cat, so he got a treatment as well as the dogs! I had to start the treatments a month early this year. I just use Hartz but it works good.

I haven't had sinus issues she we left New Jersey. I had one like this years ago and went to the chiropractor and he fixed me..might have to do that again.
