I don't know whethe r to or
cry.The meal was supposed to'be
]special and it was but they did
'not cook the roast beef long
enough or the aspargus, the
sweet potato was soft and the
cream of carrot soup was delicious.
The ice cream they could not
hurt so it was good
There was tge best
intentions so its sad that
the roast was so tough.As
for the asparagus you cannot
eat if raw and ejoy ir.I love
cooked asparagus.So it was
different.
' So Happoy Mothers day to]
all mylot friends hope your lunch
was a lot better lol lol'

Happy Mother's Day to you. This is my first time writing to you, but when someone has something interesting to say about food, then I'm there. Too bad your roast beef and asparagus were not cooked to your liking. Not everyone can cook; cooking is definitely an art. When I was a young girl I really did not know the value of being able to cook a good meal, but over the years I have learned, thank goodness.
Have a great day :)

@Lupita234 Yes, sometimes we do, and sometimes we don't, but we should try.

@Hatley Well no, I can't imagine half-raw asparagus, because ever since I was a young girl, I HATED asparagus with a passion. HATED it. I haven't tried to eat any in years. My mother used to try and make me eat it because SHE liked it. After I learned how to cook a little bit, I fully enjoy cooking. If I was independently wealthy, I would cook all day, most days.

Some people do like raw asparagus, but I do not imagine that was the intent there. Sounds as if the cooks have little experience. Hope your Mother's Day was good.
