The sky was so interesting on the way to Asheville

On the road to Asheville a few weeks ago, the sky looked like there was a fire happening in one of the clouds.
At first, it seemed as if there was gold in the sky, but a closer looked made me think of fire. Whatever it looks like to you, it is just beautiful to me.
No clue what causes such beauty on days like that, but it was interesting to see!

I don't use a cell phone and don't always have a camera handy, but when I do I take them. Mostly sunsets...

@PatZAnthony Though mine has that option and I can use it, I can't do anything with the photos as I found out the first time I tried it. So the few photos I have on my camera, will stay there.

Yes! The sky is such a good photo subject. Thank you for sharing that pretty photo. I know I have read the scientific reason behind the sunset colors before, something to do with the wavelengths of light ....

I love to see skies like this, and I do like to take photos when the sky is especially beautiful or unusual. Some days don't have any clouds, so the photos opportunities aren't as exciting, but on other days I just can't stop shooting.

You are right, it does look like fire. Yes, at times I like to take photos of the sky if there is something I would like as a memory.
