I think a ghost just used my toilet........

It is 3:20pm right now. Besides my cat and dog, I have been completely alone since 7am.
I just went to the bathroom and saw that the toilet seat was up. As if a man just used it.
Now like I said, I've been alone all day. And more importantly, I am a girl. So I have no need to leave it up like that.
So....I'm so confused right now. I have no idea why the seat was up. If anything, I am a tad more creeped out than confused.
Have you ever had something like this? Something in the house changing while being alone and knowing you had nothing to do with it?

@ilocosboy I do. I've had weird encounters many times. Though, not sure if they were ghosts or something else that we can't see.

You mean other than setting something somewhere and coming back and not finding it there, then finding it where you really left it? No, not really. Are you sure you used the toilet after 7am and before you found the seat up?

@VivaLaDani13 Are you sure your brother didn't seek in, use it or put the toilet seat up and seek back out? Some of the things you have written about him makes it sound like something he would do. On the other hand you could have ghost in your house.

And yep I am positive I used the toilet after 7am. I'm trying to be more healthier by drinking more water lately so yeah lol I had to go quite a bit.

It seems some handiwork of a ghost who knew that you were alone and he just came to toilet only to make the seat up.

@VivaLaDani13 I've had unexplained things happen to me as well. So I can believe that there may be something odd going on. Sure there might be a perfectly logical explanation, but it still sounds strange all the same.

@dodo19 Me either. I have no clue. I know it's easy for people to just laugh this off and say I probably did it ( even though I don't need to ). But I've had a lot of unexplained things happen to me before. Not in a very long time but when it was happening back in the day, it happened a lot. So....wondering why something odd and unexplainable decided to happen again.

@VivaLaDani13 Ghosts uses toilets differently. They dont poop nor pee on it. Water is reflective and things with reflection is portals for them to travel.... I swear if I am a ghost I will; stick with mirrors and shiny metal stuff.

The best solution to this mystery would be to hide a camera and if it happens again you have proof to report it to ghost busters inc.

@lookatdesktop All jokes aside, I was considering doing that. Many years ago, I had a lot of issues happening around me in this house that was odd and scary. Luckily I at least had some proof when others were in the house to witness things that I saw / heard.
I tell you, one of the hardest things is trying to reach out to people who don't believe you or take you seriously. And one of the best things is when they realise you weren't lying.

Once, when I was alone at home, I heard noises from the next room.
At first I thought it was the wind blowing papers, but when the noise got louder- I thought some get in my house!!
I went there slowly and cautiously..
But then I saw that a pigeon came through the window, of course I helped her out.
