It Was Only a Dream

I am often awake at night, just briefly, but it is disturbing. Between three and four this morning I drove my blue lawn mower to work, in the snow. On the way, I stopped at Dollar General, then when I came out, I was running late. And the darned mower would not start. Being awake at three in the morning, and at four is tiring enough. This dream really wiped me out. Oh, and I was awake at eleven p.m and 1 a.m. as well. One of my friends here said she worries, because I often say I am tired. Well now you know why. In addition to diabetes and fibromyalgia to make me tired, I have these exhausting and frustrating dreams.

I sometimes dream I've taken one of my cats to work and that never goes well.

Lack of sleep ages us quickly. Your dreams sound like nightmares to me.

In retrospect the dream was funny. I was worrying about having done something to my mower. I am loving the mower a lot.

I'm so glad I don't have crazy dreams like that. Now that I think about it I can't recall any of my dreams.

Usually I cannot either. I am just in a dither right now. It may have been something I ate, or did not eat, as well.

I've had dreams in the past that just plain would not let me forget them but eventually I did and now I can't remember those either @GardenGerty probably for the best.

Oh dear sorry you are waking up so much Heather. Yes from being so tired you are dreaming weird stuff too. I wish you could sleep well.

Some of the wakefulness may be caused by my blood sugar dropping in the middle of the night. Some of the stress is coming to the end. It is the end of the school year. I am going to have to say "no" to some of the festivities.

don't worry. Do not think about these dreams. They are all routine., I too get such dreams. If we think about them they will spoil our health.

When we are upset sometimes our brains try to work things out while we sleep.

My daughter does this sometimes. Too much going on in your heads I think. Worry, stress all blend into it too. Those other two problems can't be fun for you either.

Yes, there is a lot of stress going on here. I am glad some of it is winding down. Actually the mower is a big stress reliever. I love driving it around. Maybe that is why I dreamed it was my commute vehicle.

I hope you can determine what the problem is. I had a better night's sleep last night. My job is varied and active and so it will keep me awake.

I think more than the dream it was the repeated waking up that made me tired.

I have some nature sounds that I play. I like the sound of the surf on the beach, it makes me breathe more slowly.
