Do You Like Music From the Sixties?

I was very busy in the sixties, having babies and traveling with my husband who was in the U.S. Air Force. My daughter was born in Denver, Colorado. My oldest son was born in Okinawa, Japan and my twin boys were born in Caribou, Maine. They were all born in the 60s. I didn’t have much time to enjoy listening to music. Just recently, the top FIVE songs from the 1960s were mentioned on a TV show and I jotted them down. 1. “I Want to Hold Your Hand” by the Beatles – 1964 2. “It’s Now or Never” by Elvis Presley - 1960 3. “Hey Jude” by the Beatles – 1968 4. “The Ballad of the Green Berets” by Staff Sgt. Barry Sadler – 1966 5. “Love is Blue” by Paul Mauriat (I don’t remember him at all) What is your favorite song from the 60s? Even if you weren’t born yet, you may have heard of some of these songs and others. # 6 was “I’m a Believer” by the Monkees - 1966

Yes, that's true. I was very busy during the sixties. I barely remember any music from that era.

You were very busy and your kids were world travelers along with you. I like the 60's music. I was born in 1950 so do not know what is from then.
