Niume Views Low...

I joined Niume last year. I was excited about joining and sharing my writing and photography with the world. And of course, I liked the idea of being able to earn there as well. I was glad that earnings there come from views, not from ad clicks, because no matter how many views a post gets, if no one clicks on ads, earnings are zero... And the minimum to get paid there is only ten bucks, which should be easy enough to get, and in a shorter time period. Unfortunately, that is not the case. I have yet to reach my first $10. And a huge chunk of what I already made didn't come from views, but from referrals, and from me signing up through a friend's referral link. Views are way more important to me than money. But they go hand in hand. Low views equate to low earnings. And what I want is high views because I know a lot of people want to read my posts and actually do (hopefully without just clicking on the post and then closing the page without reading). And let's face it that also means I earn more, which gets me to the minimum payout threshold faster. I looked at my already published posts and noticed that the ones published in the past have views in the low hundreds. The posts published recently have total views below one hundred, some even under fifty. It's very disappointing. Getting views in the low hundreds is bad, but to get even less than that is even worse. I wonder how I can increase my views... Supposedly, they made a change to how their views are counted, and that's why the daily views these days are low or non-existent. But it doesn't matter to me, if the change was made or not. I want to post stuff there, but I am discouraged from doing so, knowing hardly anyone will read what I've posted. And seeing my niume wallet hardly change week by week, or if so, by pennies is both frustrating and downing. Seems there are people that do well there from what I heard. I wonder how they do it... Anyone who writes on Niume in the same boat?

I write for a number of sites (though some haven't written for in a while), but Niume was a rather recent discovery.
