I went to the dentist, and to my surprise....

The dentist said it was not a root canal. He said it was a little cavity. I have not had a little cavity in many years. Thus, I did not know what one feels like. However, it has been nine days since my appointment, and the tooth feels the same when I bite down on it, and it is still sensitive to hot and cold. It looks like I need to do some research on this.

Did the dentist fill the cavity? If he didn't maybe it needs to be done.

@MsBooklover Hopefully your tooth will settle down soon. It's awful having a sensitive tooth.

@JudyEv It's been quite a few days now...so I think he missed something. I am going back for a cleaning, and will have to see what he says.

If he filled it, you shouldn't have any problems anymore.

That's strange? Have you let him know the situation with your tooth?
