Soft Food For Dinner Tonight

For the past few days I have been missing here on myLot. Why? Strangely enough because my mouth has been bleeding off and on, sometimes heavily and sometimes not. Nobody really knows why, I thought maybe because of my teeth, my gums were bleeding. The doctors say no. As close as they can figure out, the blood seems to be coming out of my cheeks. It's like it is coming through the skin. They don't seem to be too worried about it so I am not worrying either. But it sure plays heck with eating. I have been limited to liquids until today. So, today I am having lasagna. I love lasagna and it is soft enough that it will not hurt my mouth. Yeah! I can't wait for dinner. What have you been doing? What's on the menu for dinner tonight?

I hope you don't mind me saying this, but I'm very surprised that any doctor is so relaxed about unexplained bleeding.

I agree. I got another opinion. It is much less and not as often now. If it does not stop soon back to the hospital I will be going.

That's odd. Glad it's not too serious. My day was alright. We had hamburgers and oven fries. Very tasty.

They say now that it has something to do with a severe sinus infection. Hopefully it will all be gone soon.

I hadn't heard of this happening either. My mouth is bleeding still but not as much or as often. I a looking forward to waking up in the morning without blood on my pillow.

Lasagna sounds like just the thing. I am serving leftover beef stew tonight. I hope your bleeding stops. I was wondering if it could be caused by sinus trouble, but doctors would have easily diagnosed that. I hope they get a handle on it real soon, that's worrisome.

It had a simple explanation. It's sinuses. I still don't now why my nose is not bleeding. You think it would. I am looking forward to being able to eating both fish and salad again soon.

I cannot believe your doctor is not concerned as he DOES NOT know from where the bleeding comes. Have you considered consulting another doctor.

I have gotten another opinion. I have a severe sinus infection and am receiving an intravenous antibiotic and a steroid.

@LadyDuck it does seem to be bleeding less often and no as much. It is so strange, I would expect some kind of discomfort inside my mouth but there is none.

It is lie it is bleeding through the skin. Anyway it is getting better. It must be all the antibiotics I am taking intravenously,
