I get interested in a kindle book before bedtime. I download a sample and then I am desperate to read the rest of the book. It is a real struggle not to. I need my money more however than for books I want to read. I think the one I was intrerested in has been out long enough it should be in the library though. I will give them a call today! Do you ever get overly interested in books and want to download them immediately even though they cost money?

You might be surprised what some libraries can get their hands on as well, however, if it is a new book you might have to wait.

@snowy22315 oh yes the libraries in my country tend to take a lot of time to get hold of the books

I think I am going to wait until I get my next AMazon Gift certifcate and buy it. I checked the Project Gutenberg and they said it wasn't available because they didn't like some of the content..hmm. Anyway, you could appeal it but when I looked for the book again I couldn't find it.

I do it all the time. Have you heard of bookbub? It's a free site you sign up and get free books for your kindle. Every day there is new ones or some for cheap also.

I get all my books from the resale shops here for less than a $1. When I am finished with a book, I donate to the shop from which I bought it. Works out for me and is a cheap way to get some really good books.

We don't have too many of those shops around. Most of them that I have seen have only older paperbacks, which I can turn in and trade at the library if I want to do that.

I haven't but I can understand how you could get really involved and want the book so badly you'd go ahead and buy it.

Yes, I had to fight with myself. I am going to call the library this morning though to see if they have it or could get it.
