I was reading a post by another member a few minutes ago where @infatuatedbby stated how she had stopped enjoying myLot as much as she used to, and that got me thinking about the way I tackle responding to things, and finding new things to comment on. I don't know if I tackle them a certain way. If you followed how I do myLot it might make you a little crazy. I jump around a lot, spend time with certain members reading several of their posts back to back to back, or I go through my notifications. I don't have a set way of how I do myLot everyday. I try to get back to the bulk of my notifications, and I know that I have times where I don't get to them, for that I am sorry. It isn't intentional. But another thing that Michelle said in her post was that her time here wasn't about making other people happy. And for the most part that is true for my time here as well. Do I love interacting with people? YES! Do I love that I have made friends here, and look forward to seeing how they are doing during the day, and congratulate them when good things happen, and grieve with them when bad things do, YES. But that doesn't mean that I am going to put a heavy filter on what I wrtie when I write my thoughts down. I know not everyone is going to agree with me on the way I view things, or the things I believe in- and that's okay. This post in kinda garbled, but it just felt like something I wanted to say, and like I said i was inspired to write it after reading another post.

It's interesting to read how people tackle notifications! And how they myLot, glad you got the inspiration to write your views too! And, I don't mind if people don't filter what they write. I'm happy to read , but for me if a member constantly asks about my personal life it gets annoying when I clearly do not want to answer- time of deal. I want my happiness as well too! But I can't please everyone either. I hope that make sense!

@infatuatedbby Since my notifications page only loads sometimes, something about when my internet gets slow messes with it and it just won't load. So most of the time I have to go back to each of my posts to check to see who has responded and respond back and then I have to keep track of what posts i have written comments on so that i can respond. I did get a break today when for some reason for two hours i was acutally able to check notifications, but i only got through about 45. lol.
As soon as I login the first thing I attend to are my notifications. I pay attention to every single one of them. The I go to resp;ond to discussions as many as I possibly can. Finally I post my discussions. Whatever happens in this activity is my destiny. I win sometimes and I lose sometimes. It's all in the game.
I agree with you. Everyone has their best of doing my lot. Yesterday I cleared most of my notifications, it's not the same everyday. Sometimes I concentrate more on reading, while some other times it's more commenting. It's not the same, depends on mood,or how is feel at that time.
