I can't ride a bike with one hand

ride a bike

I always ride a bike carefully. I not only hold the bike handles, but also the brakes in case of any accidents on the way. And I will ride slowly because I think it will be safer. To my surprise, some people seem to be good at riding a bike so much. They can use one hand to hold an umbrella and the other hand to hold the bike handle. Perhaps their riding experience and skills are better than me, but I know I have less accidents than them

Not anymore I cannot either. I used to go flying on the bikes. No fear. But now I am slow.

@youless I tried that once when I was a kid and had the back of my ankles scratched from hell and back as they connected with the wheels.

I think I will become much more careful if I grow older since I may not recover so soon

@youless It will be unsafe if the bikers don't have helmets.

I often see kids riding without holding the handle-bars but the ones I love are those who ride just with the rear wheel on the ground. I'd love to be able to do that. .

Since they are too young to realize the danger

@youless It is not a question of whether you can or can't ,you should not.It certainly contributes to accidents.Ride the bike using both hands and go slowly.Stay safe.

I have not rideen a bike in some years... Howver, I remember I could ride a book one handed only if the ground was flat. If the ground was flat, but still there was a slight curve, I could usually manage it... I doubt I could do the same now.

I can ride a bike without hands . I learned riding when I was 9 years old and after two years I could ride without hands. I only do it when I am on a broad road and no cars around.
