I got an email from Swagbucks the other day telling me about Swagbucks Local. It's a program that allows you to get cash back when dining out, when you pay with a linked credit card. You get SB for your purchase (up to 10SB per dollar) that automatically gets credited to your Swagbucks account. Then once you've earned enough SB you can either redeem those SB for a gift card or request PayPal cash. I only redeem for PayPal cash so I know that the minimum for that is 2500SB, which is equivalent to $25. Not sure what the minimum to redeem for a gift card is. Guess it depends on which gift card you choose... My credit card already offers me cash back, so this will be an added bonus. I decided to sign up. No harm in trying. All I had to do was login to my Swagbucks account, go to the Swagbucks Local page and enter my credit card number. Now I am ready to enjoy my usual Saturday dinner dates with my love and get cash back in the process. It says there are thousands of participating places. The question is are the places that I want to go to for dinner participants of Swagbucks Local. I searched for the restaurant I want to go to this Saturday and it did not come up in the search. I wonder if any of the places I want go to actually participate... Anyone else sign up for Swagbucks Local?

Let's hope so. The restaurant I went to today is not a participant of Swagbucks Local...

@lovebuglena That is good to know. But Swagbugs is more beneficial for members from America. For some countries especially Asian countries, the opportunities are limited
