Do you get dizzy headed when you go too long without anything to eat?

I had breakfast at 8 AM this morn. Then it wasn't until late afternoon we had hamburger and mac with cheese. Before I ate my head was swiming like the room was spinning. After a good lunch I got back to normal.
Has this ever happened to you? And does this happen often or just ever so often?

I think that has to do with your sugar level. I never do that. If I have an early breakfast I will buy a snack to eat at lunch time if I know I will not eat until late afternoon. And in your case, a hamburger will not replace dinner either, if that is your biggest meal of the day.

@lookatdesktop A hamburger is not such a bad choice if you eat it at lunch at the right time.

@marguicha It did hit the spot. And yea. It could have been something more along the line of a cold bologna on white bread.

I was much better shortly after eating lunch. I know hamburger and mac is not exactly the best choice but it seemed to take away the dizzy spell and made me calm.

Maybe it's a blood sugar thing. I have a brother with type 2 diabetes and he is 13 years older. I guess It's time I reduce the caffeine, the sweets and start eating more regularly.

Yes... it's called low blood sugar and a lot of people have to learn to live with it. You can feel really nasty when it drops! Thats why I get to eat 6 times a day lol!

Yea. That said, you too know what it's like to feel like you have swimmer's ear or light headed. It's like that sometimes. Worse than that, I had very strong coffee and that made matters worse.
