I found somebody who may be able to fix my computer

His rates are reasonable. He charges $20 to look at it and then we will go from there. He seems to think it won't be too much to fix. He is on his way over now. He should be here anytime. Hopefully it will be an easy fix. I would much rather go that way then buy a new one. I will let you know how we make out.

It might be the power cable or the fuse that is in the mains wall plug has blown. I once had an almost similar problem and I later found out that the power cable was faulty. I can't pinpoint the whole computer power supply because there are vital signs that are missing in your post. Anyway, I hope it will work out fine after the problem has been done away with.
