It might be the power cable or the fuse that is in the mains wall plug has blown. I once had an almost similar problem and I later found out that the power cable was faulty. I can't pinpoint the whole computer power supply because there are vital signs that are missing in your post. Anyway, I hope it will work out fine after the problem has been done away with.
