Legendary pro wrestler Macho Man Randy Savage, real name Randy Poffo passed away 6 years ago today, I think he was 58 years old born in 52 and, died in 2011. Randy was a 2 time WWE Champion, 4 time WCW Champion and, also a intercontinental champion, beating I think Santana and, losing it to fellow legend Ricky the Dragon Steamboat at WrestleMania 3. WrestleMania 4 was also a great time for Macho as he won a tournament to become World Champion, then my favorite of them all WrestleMania 7 his match with the Ultimate Warrior, where at the end him and, the lovely Miss Elizabeth finally reunited, then another great one was his return to win the title from Nature boy Ric Flair one last time. Another interesting note is Randy was a pretty good minor league baseball player, playing for the St Louis Cardinals and, White Sox farm system I think plus others, he suffered a injury that ended his career though, but he hit 16 home runs during his hey day. Photo credit WWE.com it's the Macho Man and, Miss Elizabeth at their best. RIP to both, they are missed, as Macho would say Ooooooh Yeah!!! Dig it!!! or snap into a slim Jim.

Yes, his first love was baseball, his Dad also holds the record for most sit ups 6033 in 4 hours and, 10 minutes, after 6 thousand he did one for each year of Jesus's life.

I observed that professional wrestlers seem to die young, Im just wondering why.

The sport has to be pretty hard on the body.

@TRBRocks420 it has been rumoured that " some" use steroids to maintain those bodies and muscles, just don't know how true but it's possible I guess.

He was one of my favorites growing up, he and Miss Elizabeth were the power couple of WWE during the 80s.
