Someone on here saw this and reviewed it a while back. I just watched it. I have heard several different slants on the film and none of them were correct.
James McAvoy stars in this psychological horror thriller that follows Kevin Wendell Crumb who has DID and 23 different personalities. There is a rumored 24 personality known as "the beast".
These three girls have gotten kidnapped by a man with 23 personalities. Dennis, Patricia, Barry and Hedwig, and Kevin, and so many others. I am so fascinated with DID(Dissociative Identity Disorder)
One of M. Night Shyamalan's best I think.
Look for the sequel, Glass, coming out in 2019.

I loved this film, right up my alley.
James was superb, but i always love his performances.
I will love to see the sequel, hope it is as good.

I didn't like it, mostly because it's not my kind of movie.
I wanted more from the girl. It started becoming good when she showed her scars but it ended shortly after there. I wasn't challenged by McAvoy's personalities(especially the beast part) because i was expecting it to be -- without crawling the walls and that kinda stuff.
the bruce willis appearance got me intrigued though.

We all have our preferences. 
I've seen movies that focuses on a character with split personalities but they're different from this one. I just didn't like the movie.
i searched about Willis appearance and found out about the director's signature.

my grandson tried to get me to watch it. unfortunately he told me it was a spin off of Unbreakable but i declined because that was a sci-fi i didn't care much for. should have read this first i guess. he took it back yesterday. is it true crime?

No. It's from f M. Night Shyamalan who does some pretty whacky and weird stuff. THis was but I liked it.

Never heard of this and I'm not sure that I'm interested in checking it out either although I did read the book in the seventies, was it called Sybil? I don't remember how many she had. Does the movie explain why he had that many of them?

Read Sybil too. This is much different but about the same issue. Some are not comfortable about such things.

@MarshaMusselman .....Yes, he was and said one word of dialogue. All stories about psychopaths and such do the same thing. DID is rare anyway.

@celticeagle I read up on this one and another one the same writer did which Disney produced and the reason Bruce Willis was in the ending on this one. They hope the final one on Glass can bring both together in some way.
The first, untouchables wasn't about split personalities per se, but rather more based on comic book features.
The mental health groups around the world are concerned that it gives people the wrong impression about those with mental health issues since most don't do criminal activities.
