Hi Mylot - I have missed you! I know you're probably wondering where I've been! -- In a word - closets. It all started a week and a half ago - when I became house-keeper for this cute little kitty named Bridgette, the cat who is staying with me for a month. It's hard to explain, but in order to store kitty's stuff, I cleaned out 2 shelves in a storage closet. And that kicked the whole thing off. In my apartment, though it is small - I have 3 closets. In addition to the my 3 closets being cram packed full of clothes and 2 chests of drawers - I had 6, yes, 6 20 gallon trash bags full of clothing that gets switched around seasonally. That's an insane amount of clothing. So I spent the better part of a week trying on many pieces of clothing. Anything that "just about fits" or fits but didn't look good on, (yes that's a thing), or things that I like, but just don't like wearing (that's a thing, too) -- anything like that got bagged up to be donated. I didn't get down to where I wanted to be - but I did manage to get rid of about 5, 20 gallon bags of clothes. The nice thing about all of this is that an acquaintance of mine is having a clothing swap next weekend. What is a clothing swap? You ask. Come and bring any clothes you don't want anymore and you can take what others bring. I don't even care if I get any clothes in return. At the end of it all, anything that people don't take, this lady will donate. Excellent. Last night I did one of my final projects my crafts shelves and pantry. I should be on here more from now on . Though this coming week will be my yard care week. How have you all been? Photo: Me
