Yesterday my daughter had her birthday party. When everyone came we had soda, cheesecake, cupcakes and Klondike bars. It was so yummy.
We over invited people so I had to have my mother drive my niece and nephew. I took my two kids and 4 other kids in my van.
We went to an arcade place and it was really neat to see all the old game systems on display and be able to play the pinball machines etc. I felt like I was in the pixels movie. It was so loud in there and all the lights that I had some pretty bad anxiety until we left.
We stopped and got pizza to eat down the road before coming home. It was so wonderful seeing my daughter surrounded by her friends and cousins and having such a good time. Her dad would have loved the arcade so it was very sad he isn't alive to be here with us.
Today we are going for her to spend her birthday money and go to eat at a Chinese buffet.
It has been 5 weeks now since I saw my boyfriend. I heard from him twice short responses after I texted him this week. I am going to text him later tonight once my kids are in bed. I do not foresee it going very well but it cannot go on like this he needs to break it off if he doesn't want to see me or communicate. If I am not on mylot for awhile you will know why. When I get really upset I don't feel up to being here.

How old is she now? Sorry her father isn't alive to have been there.. must hurt a bit on the birthdays.. glad she had a good time. Thats all we want for our kids.

Thank you. For some reason the photo blurred a little but you get a pretty good idea. I thought she did a pretty good job. We were just going to lather on the frosting but she was bored and excited for her party so she wanted to use the things we had in the cupboard to decorate them. I think only two people are the cupcakes. More ate the ice cream and cheesecake.

She did a great job on those cupcakes. I am sorry that you went through so much with your bf. I know he is an ex now and I think that is probably for the best.

He and I have been trying to make things work for the last month or so. It’s hard though when we are both busy with our own kids. He doesn’t make much effort to see me. I don’t see how things will work and think he needs to just call it quits and stop coming back.

The cupcakes look yummy. Glad to hear your daughter and her friends and cousins had a good time together. I hope your daughter has fun spending her birthday money and that you all enjoy the chinese buffet.I hope your conversation goes good with your boyfriend he needs to quit dragging this out and messing with your heart you are a sweet woman you don't deserve this.

My daughter spent her birthday money buying more band t-shirts. Her drawer is pretty darn full now ha ha. She also bought some band magazines and an Attack on Titans DVD. We didn't know it only played on Blu ray so yesterday I went and bought a streaming Blu-ray player at Walmart. The buffet was delicious we all loved it. My son being under 10 was charged less so that was awesome for the 3 of us to eat it was $31.

@Tina30219 sometimes the Blu ray discs are cheaper then regular DVDs. Some movies are only put out on Blu ray like Attack on Titan so it is good we have both.

@shaggin Teenagers the things they are into. Wow could be a good way to get a blu ray player by accidently getting blu ray instead of dvd. Now you can buy or rent blu rays. $31 for the 3 of you is not bad glad you all enjoyed it.

My daughter had a decent birthday. She was happy with her presents. She was annoyed because her brother was so difficult she felt he ruined her day. She used to be the same way when she was younger on other people's birthdays. I did text my boyfriend last night and now we are officially broke up. I am sad but not so bad as I thought I would be.

My boyfriend and I broke up. He messaged me two days later which was Tuesday and said he made a big mistake breaking up with me. He said he would be home all memorial day weekend as his son was going to his mother's house and we could talk. Well I hadn't heard from him since then and I am pretty glum at times but I am not messaging him. He can't keep pushing me away all the time then expecting me to just come back. He makes promises and never keeps them.

Thank you! The cupcakes were yummy. I had left over frosting from them so when I had a get together for friends (one who is moving away) this past Thursday I used the rest of the frosting on cupcakes I made to share. Worked out great so nothing went to waste.

Yes just going out to dinner is good enough but I like to spoil my kids a little at times.
