That is how I like mine fixed. How about you and your steaks? I don't like blood in my foot. heck, I can't take it coming out my finger when I cut it. I see blood on the plate sometimes and wonder how on earth could that be a way to eat. I like my meat cooked to the point it falls off the bone.

I like mine medium well. With just a slight pink strip down the middle. Now with pork I like it well done, almost crispy. That way the fat is tasty and the rest is too. Cooking in the slow cooker is good too.

Oh, I love it in the crock pot as well. It's the best way to go about it without a grill.

@sharon6345 maybe just try medium well at least once. There's no blood when you cut the steak but the taste and texture is so much nicer

oh heck no. That is a way to ruin a good piece of meat. I take my steak medium rare.

@sharon6345 I don't want blood oozing all over my plate, but I also don't want my meat overcooked and tough. If I'm spending a lot of money on good beef, I want it tender.

@sharon6345 My husband loved his well done. It is a matter of having the steak longer in the grill. I usually cut it in half at one point to see if it is how I like it.

@sharon6345 He likes his the same way. We got steaks for my grandson and two sons for memorial weekend. Now they are not coming. So we will eat them. Their loss is our gain.

I like my steak cooked medium. Same as roast beef. The juice/blood helps it have flavor.

I like what you have done with the Shays Baskets Sharon. I can eat steak but not too rare for sure. I do not like it like that with the blood. But other than that I like it any way.

I like my steak a little pink. When I see someone eating a steak dripping with blood it makes me a little ill. Why even bother cooking it?
