Guess what I did this afternoon? Yep, watched another movie. Rogue One.
First thing I noticed, or did not notice...I miss the Star Wars music.
The movie feels like one of the Star Wars movies. But without the big stars. But it's pretty good. Most of the music throughout the film were pretty close to the original scores, and then they would change and I'd feel cheated.
The story was a good one and the adventure is good. I was supposed to have seen this originally in the theater when it first came out, as a birthday present. But we got a very bad snowstorm that day, so I didn't get there. It's been a long time coming and, as a long time fan of Star Wars, I'm glad I finally got to see it. I'm sure there will be a lot more of these coming out.

It was a MUST SEE for us! I was skeptical of a side story movie . . . but Rogue One totally went beyond my expectations. I know what you mean about the music - it had similar sounds to Star Wars - but it wasn't Star Wars music (it wasn't done by John Williams). But for me, I was glad they stepped away from it . . . this story was allowed to be it's own thing in it's own world with it's own characters and situations . . . I could see it without thinking too much about the typical Star Wars stuff (although I love the typical Star Wars stuff ).
