I do pick wild blackberries, but they aren't ready until July around here. I pick this huge patch along an old abandoned train track about 10 miles from home. My great nieces want to go this year.

@andriaperry Where I pick the mosquitoes are horrible, so we will have to use bug spray or dress with long sleeves or we will get tore up.

I am surprised to see blackberries at this time of the year, we pick them in August/September in my area. Maybe they are not the same ?
I was liking to pick blackberries when I was a kid. I don't do it now, but I like to pick and eat some fresh ones during my rides in the countryside.

We have wild blackberries, raspberries, etc. on our property now, but not as many as we once did @andriaperry
