Hello dear friends, I am happy to say that we have a comfortable and cool day today as there was rain yesterday and today. Now I am coming to the topic. It is common in life if we don’t like something then we put some restrictions. It is applicable for all relations. At times it will be towards children or will be towards spouse, friends, relatives etc. What do you think on this, if we make restrictions then people may started to hide things from us. I mean at times, others can’t accept the demand or order; in that case they just hide it and continue the same. Of course every one has their own freedom and preference. What is your opinion?

I agree , too many restrictions makes people to hide things. The more the restrictions the more curiosity. That's why "Space is very important in every relationship."

Yes, you are very much right. All need freedom to breath. In case of new married couple, it will create more troubles.

To be honest when i was still at school my parents were a bit strict and i was not allowed to hang out with my friends. So at times I secretly went out with my friends without informing my parents.

@Nawsheen Yes, when we have restrictions we feel to cross the limit no matter how hard it is.

@Sreekala well if there hadn't been that much restrictions. I would not have done that maybe. Lol

You can put restrictions but also explain why and see how they respond. Food was scarce when I was small so we used to sneak down at night sometimes and make a quick sandwich to eat upstairs very quickly though and on tiptoe.

Explanation do not work always dear. It depends on the situation. Yes, in case of a child if we put some restrictions and explain why we are saying like that, it may work. But in case of relationship, the wife can't talk to some one as hubby don't like and vice versa never works, whatever may be the reason.

@Sreekala Yes that is so right. They just shut their ears and away. I find explaining is something that should be a normal thing as it was something that was lacking when I was small and a great deal.

Yes, I believe so too. If they have many restrictions, then they want only chosen people to be able to avail of it.

In case of me, if some one told me don't do this and that... oh.. then probably I will avoid that person for sure.

If someone is harming me, I am finished and I don't care if they hide things anymore.

@Sreekala Peace is so valuable. It is not worth the struggle of trying to keep up with someone.

Too many restrictions do lead to children rebelling

Yes, children get irritated and seek their own ways to vent out their frustration.

Some people may give explanation and seek permission but if they don't get it then hiding is the only method.

Yes, children feel insecure and scare inside and never show any interest to share their problem.
