Stomach Bug Spoils the Weekend and Then Some

Little Miss has been sick since last week. She came down with a stomach bug on Thursday. Had to pick her up from daycare early on Friday because she got sick while taking her nap.
By Saturday evening I had convinced myself that I was immune to getting this illness. I came out to see if my husband was coming to bed at around 12:30 and he said he was sleeping on the couch because I wouldn't want him next to me with the way he was feeling. The way he looked, I knew he was coming down with the bug.
I woke the next day and made coffee and a bowl of oatmeal. I felt fatigued, but thought it was because Little Miss was up most of the night. Then it hit me. That wonderful sick to your stomach feeling! I couldn't drink but of couple of sips of coffee. Yup, I was doomed.
Had to stay home today because I am still not feeling well. Don't want to share this with my clients either. Hubby did go to work this morning. And, happy to say that Little Miss woke with a good appetite! Hopefully this will be gone completely by tomorrow.

I have been visiting the porcelain Goddess quite a bit in the past 2 days. Thankfully I have been spared part of it. My granddaughter had both. She is doing much better today. Hubby is grumpy but will manage.

My granddaughter did okay with picking up her toys. Still have a few scattered here and there. Hubby spent the day on the couch so he couldn't do too much. I do have to put away laundry that has been on the clothes rack for 2 days now. Have another load to put in its place.

Little Miss was sick for 3 days. Thankfully hubby and I felt a little better after 24 hours.

I wasn't a happy camper. Had way too much to do and how can you when you are beating path to the bathroom every 5 minutes. Feeling better now thank you!

@ElusiveButterfly That's the worst part of the stomach bug...the constant trips to the bathroom! Especially when you're running to make it in time!

I've heard the stomach thing has been raging all over the country lately. It hit my sister's daycare not long ago. I hope you're feeling better very soon.

My granddaughter got it from one of the kids at daycare. She has had a rough time with it. I was glad to see her feeling better today. Now to get myself back to snuff.

I don't know why, but stomach bugs seem to be SO contagious! Once one person in a household gets it, you pretty much have to get ready for it.

My husband thought it was the shrimp salad I made that got him sick. When I told him we both had the stomach bug thanks to our little granddaughter he realized I was right.
He is better today, but grumpy. I just keep running to the bathroom. Hopefully it will end soon.

Oh goodness, I'm sorry y'all were all sick! That makes any weekend terrible. =( I hope the bug goes away completely soon for y'all.
