Heart Sore, Catch That Sun....

I woke up heart sore, in Afrikaans we say "hart seer". I just felt so sad. There is so much ugliness going on in the world. So much worries and strife in daily life. I probably have a bit of lack of sleep I am dealing with too.
Then I looked at the sun catcher I have hanging on my window and I watched the Autumn sun catching at it, I threw some music on and I told myself to get over it!
We complicated life. Life should be simple, but it is not simple and we all have to find a way to deal with that.
So, look to catch the sun, even if you can't be lying on a beach somewhere (with a nice little cocktail, sigh) , maybe make your own cocktail... and throw on some music and have a good week, all.
Photos are of my sun catcher.

we must always look at the bright side, despite the problems that man brings. the battle between the military and the terrorists in the southern part of my country is scary, but we have to be hopeful that everything will be well.

@ridingbet Yes, it creates prisms and sometimes watching that lightens a persons heart I am happy you could see the picture now.

@bluesa now, i can see... i can see... yes, my friend, now i can see the picture here in your discussion.
like the dream catcher, i think your sun-catcher does its purpose. it creates prism, right? when the sun's rays pass through the glass.

I hope that you can find some peace my dear friend, you sound so sad and not yourself. How is your mother?

@Lupita234 sometimes a person can't help but think. But also sometimes it is better to not think.

Life, and the world and uncertainty can certainly bring us down. It is good to choose to focus on things that relax us and bring us joy.

@GardenGerty , true, it's not always easy to shrug off a sad mood but it is good to try to focus on what brings us joy.

It is always nice to arrange things or make plans that will keep you busy and looking forward to something. I love the sun catcher. I bet the prisms are beautiful in the sunshine!

We do complicate life but it would be boring if it was perfect. I love love love your sun catchers. I used to have some but don't know where they went, I will be looking for new ones now...

@PainsOnSlate , Yes, if there was perfection I suppose there would be no texture to life. Thank you, I hope you find some nice sun catchers. A friend made mine, she took ribbon and string and then glass and clear plastic beads and butterflies and so on and strung them on.

This is good to get up early. I too was feeling difficult to get up early. I was becoming really lazy the other day. But, I learned it and made it a habit. Now I am feeling quite comfortable.

Thank you, it doesn't have a chime. Yes, quite right we shouldn't @responsiveme but sometimes the hold on our thoughts gets away from us.
