Tasting Chips Ahoy! Oatmeal Thins

What is the deal with thin cookies? First Oreos and now Chips Ahoy! Are consumers being psyched into believing they are eating healthier by reaching for a thin rather than regular sized cookie. Less calories, right? Perhaps if you can contain yourself to eating an equal number which is unlikely. You know you will take two thins to equal a regular. These are oatmeal chocolate chip cookies and quite crisp as advertised on the package. Taste is pretty good and they are lite. Regular size cookies would be better in providing more satisfaction and you might feel inclined to eat less. There is something about thins leaving you wanting thus gobbling down more.

Not a fan of thins. I want my cookie chewy and chunky!

Nowadays anything made from the food industries proved to be unhealthy. We can not make it a habit or add it to our regular list of diet. I am totally afraid...

I don't like to eat thin cookirs. It is like I can't get the real satisfaction by eating those. I am always going for the big chocolatey ones. Lol

The thin cookies get you to buy more because you eat more. It's supposed to get you to eat smaller healthier portions but making them thinner just makes me eat more.

They sound intriguing, but I'm not sure they'd be worth it for me. If I am eating a cookie, I want a cookie not a thin. Unless of course you are talking about Thin Mints

Huh. I don't think I've seen these. I'm a Chips Ahoy fan, so I would have tried them.
