Maybe you can gift him something that he likes. For example: if he likes painting, then gift him a colors set or something like that.

Make him a gift basket of things he likes. For Father's Day, I'm making my husband a movie themed gift basket. 2 new blu rays, jiffy pop, soda, candy, a star wars themed glass, and 2 movie tickets.
